Say NO to Drugs

My friends, Liu and Wei, stealthily showed me something that looked like crystal sugar yesterday, and said “Good things should be shared with good friends.” As I previously learned from school that the stuff could possibly be amphetamine, I wondered what I should do in this situation.
Refusal is the only correct way! Under no circumstances should you ever try drugs to please your friends. Once you start, you will be tempted a second time and third time. A strong refusal is the only way to protect yourself healthwise and legally. Here are 8 tips to help you to refuse drug offers:
Tip 1: Resort to friendship, e.g. “Don’t force me if you regard me as your friend.”
Tip 2: Use an anti-provocation method, e.g. “I will be a true coward if I take drugs simply because you say I don’t have the guts.”
Tip 3: Give reasons, e.g. “I will never do it! Drug taking is illegal. I don’t want to get into trouble.”
Tip 4: Use sarcasm, e.g. “My dad said he’ll kill me if I take drugs. I don’t want to die yet.”
Tip 5: Shift the focus, e.g. “Drug taking sucks. There is a good movie; let’s go see it.”
Tip 6: Find an excuse to leave, e.g. “Sorry, I’ve got a date with a friend, I’m gonna be late!”
Tip 7: Make an excuse, e.g. “I’m going to the hospital tomorrow. I can’t take them now; they’ll find out.”
Tip 8: Keep repeating, e.g. “NO, NO, NO, NO, NO…”
