The Branch has one Director, one Deputy Director and the subordinated units including 1st Subsection, 2nd Subsection, 3rd Subsection, 4th Subsection, Investigation Brigade, Duty Command Center, Special Assignment Brigade and various police stations (posts).
1st Subsection:
Administration, accounting, cashier, and secretarial affairs
Public relations: press release affairs, public and community services; Friends Of The Police Association. Foreign affairs: Foreign residents and workers management, and foreign groups safety protection.
Census: Community services card promotion, transient population management, missing persons searching, and arrival/departure affairs handling.
2nd Subsection:
Inspection: Duty inspection.
Personnel, welfare, training, accounting, conduct and discipline affairs; internal management, conduct and discipline investigation, special operations.
3rd Subsection:
Accept applications for assembly and parade and their approval; each project (task for maintaining security during Chinese New Year, maintenance of social order during elections) planning and implementation; management of air defense shelters, air alert, and Wan-An maneuver program.
Safeguard: Crack down on illegal Chinese, checking and monitoring of people from P.R.C., handle safeguard affairs, collect protest information, and give counseling.
4th Subsection:
Traffic: Traffic violations reporting and traffic adjudication affairs.
Information: Information equipment maintenance, consumables distribution, police information system management, and LAN management.
Special Assignment Brigade:
Propagation for juvenile crimes prevention, motorcycle theft prevention, fraud prevention, and drug prevention.
Duty Commander Center:
Public security affairs handling, traffic accidents and catastrophe reporting, emergency rescue management.
Accept, handle, and control reports.
Investigation Brigade:
Criminal cases investigation and propagation for crime prevention.
Accept applications for records of loss of visa or passport
